What is Din rail power supply?

DIN rail power supply is a switching power supply that can convert unstable input voltage into stable output voltage. Compared with linear regulated power supplies (transformers), switching power supplies have significantly higher conversion efficiency, lighter weight, and more compact design.

The characteristic of DIN rail power supply lies in its installation method, which is also the origin of its name.
